2026 Junior Showgirl & Stockman

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

• Entrants will be interviewed on stage in front of judges from the local community and an audience.

• All entrants will be asked a combination of questions including questions on the entry form suitable for their age.

• The judges will be looking for entrants who are confident in themselves, speak well in public, overall

presentation and display an interest in the local community and Tenterfield Show.

• Interviews are informal.

• All entries must be received by 5:00pm Thursday 5th February 2026.

• Competition will commence at 4:00pm Friday 6th February 2026 at the Shearing Complex. Entrants must arrive 15

minutes prior to be put into age groups.

• Placegetters will be awarded during the Grand Parade at 3:00pm Saturday 7th February 2026. Entrants are meet at

the Secretary’s Office 15 minutes prior to the Grand Parade commencing. Entrants will enter the Main Ring

collectively as a group for the presentations. Entrants are encouraged to come along to support and cheer on their

friends.

• The Junior Showgirl and Stockman Competition is not intended to be a scary experience. It is an opportunity to assist

children with their personal development and further encourages them to become involved in the community.
