Terms and Conditions of Entry
A Horse Handling Participant Risk Acknowledgement and Waiver Form must be completed, and entry fees paid before riding.
It is a condition of entry at this show for all horses to compete on the understanding that drug testing may be carried out at this show, and if drugs are detected then penalties will apply.
All competitors compete at their own risk, competitors acknowledge that activities involving horse and cattle are dangerous, and that accidents causing death, bodily injury, disability and property damage can and do happen.
There will not be any free gate entry or any gate refund to competitors.
Novice – has not won an open class at any show.
The Tenterfield show society reserves the right to make any changes to this schedule without notice.
Helmets must be worn by all competitors aged under 18 years.
Prizes may comprise a combination of cash, product or local business vouchers.
NB: Exhibits entering in Hack Classes cannot compete in Hunter Classes
Horse stalls and stallion boxes are available on application.
Payment must be made with application.

5.11. A REGISTERED horse is a horse that has been issued with an Australian Stock Horse Registration Number and Certificate of Registration.
5.11.1. If the owner or lessee of the horse is an unfinancial member, a non-member, a Participant Member, a Subscriber Member, a Temporary Member or a Cancelled Member of the Society, the horse’s registration is SUSPENDED and is ineligible for competition.
5.12. A FOAL RECORDED horse is not eligible to be shown in Australian Stock Horse events .
