General Conditions of Entry

1. All cattle must be Pestivirus tested negative. Appropriate paperwork/vet certificate must accompany entries

2. Entry Fee $10.00 – No charge for Interbreeds competition

3. All cattle entered must be on the Showground by 8am, for judging by 8.30am on Saturday 5, February 2022.

4. Entries will close on Friday, 19th January 2024

5. All cattle must be the bona-fide property of the exhibitor and be registered or be eligible for registration on their respective stud books. Led steers excepted

6. No exhibit (animal) to compete in more than one class, except interbreed 7. All animals must be led

8. All bulls over 8 months must have a nose ring, be provided with strong halters and must be secured when parading with a lead attached to a nose clip

9. All cattle (except for calves at foot) must have nose grips in at all times

10. The age of cattle to be actual age up to and including the day of the Show 11. All exhibitors are expected to participate in the Grand Parade

12. Where possible exhibitors are requested to have an appropriate sign indicating name of stud etc placed over the team in the cattle pavilion – in the area allocated by Steward

13. Stud grooms should wear dustcoats or suitable breed dress when parading

14. Interbreed/Breeders group/champion female – if there is a calf at foot, it must be under eight months of age

15. All cattle will be stalled according to Johnes status. Johnes declarations must accompany entries 16. Where one entry in class animal will be judged during junior/senior champion judging 17. All cattle will be scanned and NLIS sighted/transferred on the grounds. PIC & copy of NVD to be provided on request.

18. Any Registered Breed & exhibitors invited to show will be allocated stall places as per draw 19. Stall bedding will be provided by Tenterfield Show Society Judging of all other registered breeds of cattle will commence at 8.30am. Two rings will operate.

20. Bulls must not be led by any person under 12 years of age.

Conditions of Entry:

1. Steer shall be the bona-fide property of the exhibitor

2. Feeding shall be unrestricted

3. Competition shall be confined to steers with no permanent teeth

4. More than one entry per exhibitor is permitted

5. Steers must be paraded for judging and also led in the Grand Parade

6. Points will be allotted for weight for age, conformation, degree of finish and also for parading ability.
